One of A.C.Coy Company's strategic Clients located in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area currently is looking for a Sun Solaris Systems Engineer.

Job description:
Build Sun Solaris servers based on documentation provided. This will entail installing the operating system, layered products and assisiting developers with application installation.

Required skills / competencies:

• Basic knowledge of Sun Solaris 8, 9 and 10 (Solaris 10 is not essential but would be helpful)
• Basic understanding of system administration including basis unix system command, system reboots procedures, boot scripts, shell scripting and security
• Some knowledge of Sun flare and jumpstart functions
• Some knowledge of Sun Solaris Disksuite, Explorer, Patchlink
• Basic networking knowledge including configuring network interfaces, establishing basic connectivity with a network, routing, determining interface and network speeds and setup.
• Veritas Cluster, GCS, knowledge.

Shift / scheduled hours:
Daylight - Monday - Friday
