One of A.C.Coy Company's strategic Clients located in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area currently is looking for an AIX/UNIX System Engineer.

Job description:
Build AIX server/LPAR's based on documentation provided. This will entail installing the operating system, layered products and assisiting developers with application installation.

Required skills / competencies:
Basic knowledge of AIX 5.3
Basic knowledge of LPAR configuration via the HMC
Basic understanding of system administration including basic unix system command, system reboots procedures, boot scripts, shell scripting and security
Knowledge of NIM server and network-based installation from a mksysb image
Basic networking knowledge including configuring network interfaces, establishing basic connectivity with a network, routing, determining interface and network speeds and setup.
Veritas Cluster, GCS knowledge.

Shift / scheduled hours:
Daylight - Monday - Friday
