Detailed Job Description:
Looking for a seasoned professional for our Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office who
has extensive experience in design and development of software integration
technologies.
Successful candidate will:

Collaborate closely with members of Clients product teams on technical
integration efforts and issues involving Client products, or integration
between
-
Client products and third party products
-
Continually re-evaluate and refine our tools, libraries, XML schemas, WSDL's,
and transaction sets which are used in our standard integration methods, based
on feedback from Clients product teams and third parties with the goal of
making integration easier
-
Work closely with multiple interns who provide direct support to third party
developers to help them learn/use our standard integration methods
-
Directly interact with third party developers when high priority or complex
issues require it
Job Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree or comparative work experience
-
At least 8 years of experience in software application design and development
and significant experience with integration of applications
-
Individual must be a proactive self-starter experienced and able to work both
alone and in groups
-
Superb problem solving skills, along with excellent skills in translating
verbal and written requirements into software design
-
Extensive experience with XML, XML Schema, J2EE, .NET languages, C/C++, web
application development, and typical related integrated development
environments
-
Experience working with web services and related technologies such as HTTP
-
Good communication skills as position involves talking with customers/partners
-
Good organizational skills and ability to deal with changing priorities and
managing simultaneously active tasks

Position may require occasional travel
Desired:
-
Experience working with messaging frameworks such as JMS, MSMQ, and other
messaging technologies including synchronous and asynchronous messaging
-
Experience with Windows (2000/XP), OS X, Linux, or similar operating systems
Pluses:

Experience with authentication/encryption technologies such as SSL, and digital
certificates
-
Experience working in additional programming languages
-
Experience with the printing industry
