One of A.C.Coy Company's strategic Clients located in the Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania area currently has Multiple Peoplesoft Developer positions
available.
Description
Mulitple positions are available in the Internal Information Solutions group
for PeopleSoft 8.9 HCM/HRMS application software designers and developers with
intermediate level to advanced level experience. The Developers must be able to
leverage PeopleSoft integration technologies, understand PeopleSoft security,
SQR and online reports using Query/Crystal. Functional Knowledge of the process
flow for PeopleSoft 8.9 HCM and an understanding of the PeopleSoft 8.9 database
are preferred. The Developers are responsible for design, development, rollout
and support for PeopleSoft applications/modules. Will provide high quality and
timely production support of the PeopleSoft 8.9 applications for Clients Human
Resources department.
The Developers will also perform effective requirements gathering and needs
analysis in order to develop technical specifications for modifications and
enhancements to the application.
Education / Experience
B.S. degree in IS or related field or a B.S. in Mathematics or Engineering will
be considered equivalent.
Developer Analyst position requires a minimum of 2 years of hands on experience
developing, testing and supporting PeopleSoft 8.9 HCM or HRMS applications
(specifically Human Resources, Base Benefits, Payroll). Knowledge of PeopleSoft
architecture, People Tools 8.4+ / PeopleCode, PeopleSoft Integration Tools
experience (Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Workflow), UNIX
environment including scriptwriting and SQR development in an Oracle
environment using SQL-PL/SQL is preferred. The higher level positions require
increased experience.
Skills
These positions require skills that range from development of new applications
to end-user support of existing systems and reporting tools. Candidates will
posses excellent interpersonal skills, a high degree of attention to detail,
ability to balance multiple job assignments, and good time management skills.
Candidates need to work effectively with internal customers, vendors &
management. Candidates should also have a very dedicated customer service
attitude and excellent communication skills.
