Title: SAP SD Business Process Analyst III

Job Description:
This position reports to the Team Lead, Sales and Distribution (SD) and will be mainly focused on International projects requiring in excess of 50% of the time working with international affiliates. International travel should be expected 25 – 50% of the time. Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Work with the other Business Process Functional Teams, Data Management, Technology Services, Lotus Development, and eBusiness Teams as well as the end users, to analyze, design, develop, modify, test, and implement, software solutions and applications to satisfy business requirements.
- Proactively research the SAP system, OSS, ASUG and other resources for solutions to business requirements and the implementation of new business process improvements.
- Meet with key end users to determine application development requirements, act as the liaison between the IT Organization and the end users to insure requirements and progress are communicated accurately.
- Understand advanced, integrated business processes, identify and recognize global integration consequences.
- Comprehend and perform complex configuration tasks and testing, resolve complex user reported issues in a timely manner.
- Successfully handle multiple projects, completing them on time, on budget and exceeding customer expectations.
- Create design specifications for programs in all aspects of SAP’s proprietary ABAP/4 programming language including: reporting, transactional programming, interfaces, SAPscript, Remote Function Calls (RFCs), Business Application Program Interface (BAPIs) and User Exits.
- Documentation of software solutions, SAP configuration and program modifications according to departmental standards.
- Research new technologies and functionality, making recommendations on their use company.
- Supervise, Mentor and develop skills of team members when appropriate.
- Build partnerships with internal customers and networks with external associates.
- Special knowledge, skills and abilities required:
- In depth knowledge of the functionality of the SAP SD modules as well as the related business processes.
- In depth knowledge of the functionality of all of the other core SAP modules. (FI, CO, MM, PP) and integration points as well as the related business processes.
- Working knowledge of the ABAP Workbench.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with Business Process and Technical IT team members as well as end users across the company’s global network.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Travel as required for end user training, education, conferences and on-site projects and implementations.
- Ability to recognize, respect and adapt to cultural differences.
Education and experience required:
- Minimum of 3 years of proven SAP configuration experience in the SD modules.
- Minimum of 3 years of IT or related Sales and Distribution business process experience.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science, Computer Science, or related discipline.
