Job Description:
This position will be responsible for phone and customer support of Software Product. Any previous experience in providing software support on competitors software product and/or GIS (Arcview or ArcGIS) software will be a major benefit and these candidates will be considered first.
Preferred:
Access experience, SQL Server Management Studio, SSIS, SSRS, Visual Studio, SQL Replication Services, SQL Server Compact Edition, MS Info Path, .Net, Source Control, and Salesforce.com
Job Description:
- Candidate will be responsible for day to day support of the software system that runs on a SQL Server Database and ESRI Mapping Software. They will be responsible for the interacting with end customers in solving problems and providing solutions.
- Excellent customer service, analytical / problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience providing technical support for software products (preferably GIS-based software).
- Familiarity with and ability to communicate GIS and technical terms and/or technical information.
- Knowledge of ArcGIS Server, ArcSDE, Oracle, SQL Server a plus.
- Working knowledge and experience with Esri geo-databases a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the development team as part of our continuous integration process to integrate high quality support and deployment of our applications.
- Provide high-quality Tier II and Tier I support of custom and productized software solutions to solve technical problems quickly and effectively.
- Document technical issues through incident tracking and submission of software defect/enhancement requests.
- Test software and hardware to troubleshoot issues and evaluate solutions.
- Determine or recommend software changes to developer.
- Utilize and develop problem-solving skills, proactive incident management, communication skills and creativity.
