Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists quota-bearing Account Executives in discovering opportunities and presenting to assigned Enterprise, National, and Government level customers complex voice and data applications and assist with closing sales.
- Interfaces with customers to determine technical requirements feasibility and expectations.
- Strategize with prospects to architect and engineer a solution based on a variety of criteria including functionality, scalability, future-proofing, and cost.
- Designs viable complex voice and data network sales solutions for Enterprise Level customer applications including preparation of network topologies, technical specifications, and assist Sales with pricing.
- Assists high level Account Executives with ICB development and review, assembles required data and initiates Complex ICB process
- Determine and present Return on Investment on opportunities requiring capital outlay
- Works with appropriate internal committees to validate XO’s ability and willingness to offer a solution.
- Translates techno-speak to plain English for both customers and internal personnel and English to techno-speak at a level all can readily understand.
- As required, conducts formal site surveys on new orders (T-1 and above). Site survey will be used by Service Delivery and Ops.
- Pulls and analyzes CSRs (with assistance from TSCs and Sales Coordinators as needed.)
- Performs other support duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Licensures: Cisco Certification preferred

Relevant Work Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of field telecommunications/data sales/technical experience supporting quota bearing sales executives, at least 50% of which should be working with Enterprise level customers requiring cutting-edge technology or complex voice and data applications.
